1. What services does GSD offer?
   GSD provides a wide range of home repair and renovation services from full remodels of kitchens, bathrooms, and basements to small handyman services including plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, painting, and more!

2. Where is GSD located and what areas do you serve?
   GSD is based in White Lake, Michigan and proudly serves Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, and surrounding Southeast Michigan communities.

3. Are you licensed and insured?
   Yes. GSD is a licensed and insured professional home repair and renovation company. ( thoughts on providing links here?)

4. How can I request a quote / estimate or contact GSD?

5. Do you handle both small repairs and large remodeling projects?
   Absolutely. GSD works on everything from small repairs and touch-ups to full remodels and custom projects. Unlike our competition, GSD does not have a minimum price before we will take on a job. Including free. If the repair is quick, our team is encouraged to address such fixes during an estimate. 

6. Is GSD LLC a veteran-owned business?
   Yes. GSD is proudly veteran-owned and operated.

7. Do you offer residential services only, or commercial work as well?
   GSD primarily focuses on residential projects, but we have been contracted by several property management companies to substitute specialized services, repairs, and upgrades. Well known companies such as HomeGoods,  Noodles & Company, Home Depot, and Sky Zone.

8. Can you help with custom or unique projects?
   Yes! GSD Specializes in custom or unique designs. We have over 60 years of combined experience and are easily able to provide insight to turning your unique vision into a customized project.

9. How do you ensure quality and customer satisfaction?
   GSD emphasizes clear communication, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail to ensure every client is satisfied with the finished work. There is a reason why over 80% of our business comes from repeat and referred work. 

10. What sets GSD apart from other home remodeling and repair companies?                                                            GSD does not hire sales people. Your project will be evaluated by the foreman or owner overseeing the job. We do not use high pressure sales tactics when bidding jobs. This also means we will pursue a more cost-effective or surgical solution to your project, and not simply tear out and redo everything if it can be avoided. We pride ourselves on honesty, we will not accept a job that is outside of our ability to do. In some instances we have referred our competition or specialists if the job does not fit our schedule for skill set. Additionally, we will honor our prices even at a loss if it means a satisfied customer. 

11. Does GSD use subcontractors?                                                                                                                                      No and yes. GSD primarily has all in house contractors / employees. Small home repair projects are all in house. Larger projects that require extensive work or permits, we bring on trusted subcontractors we have worked with in the past if it means the expected timeline movie met.

12. Is GSD HomePro certified?                                                                                                                                              Yes! In fact, GSD is the only handyman service in the entire HomePro's Network that is certified.

13. Does GSD do repairs or remodels to current building code?                                                                                Absolutely, GSD does all repairs and renovations to code. The only exception being a one for one, or exact replacement if safe to do so. 

14. Does GSD do emergency calls?                                                                                                                     Yes and no. We will do our best to prioritize emergency calls, including after hours and weekends. However, being a smaller operation we do not have a team on standby 24/7.

15. Does GSD bill by the hour or by the project?                                                                                                          Depends. Any multi-day projects will be a price agreed upon ahead of time. Certain items do have a price to install, for example ceiling fans, doors, toilets, dishwashers, Etc. However, if a customer provides a punch list of items or has one to two simple repairs, this will be billed by the hour.

16. What is GSD's hourly rate?                                                                                                                                                  $100 for the first hour, $75 for every hour after that, plus materials. 

17. Does GSD offer senior or military discounts?                                                                                                                  GSD does not use salespeople or sales tactics such as artificial discounts. Most companies superficially raise their price just to discount it. We felt this was dishonest. However, we do provide repeat customers with advantages such as priority service, waived card fees, or waived deposits. Also, compared to our competitors we are the highest in customer satisfaction and quality while still having the lowest price at this level. 

18. Does GSD require a deposit to do work?                                                                                                                    Yes, GSD does take small deposits to secure dates. Larger upfront deposits are taken for projects to cover materials.

19. What forms of payment does GSD take?                                                                                                                    GSD takes nearly every form of payment. Cash, check, all major credit / debit cards (processing fees apply to cards), Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, and PayPal.
